Visión culinaria

Located in the main street of the beautiful medieval town of Morella, our restaurant is the result of work and passion of 3 generations dedicated to livestock farming and hotel and catering industry. In Vinatea, you will enjoy a gastronomy offer that merges tradition and innovation, created by local and season products.
Our menu includes all kinds of proposals adapted to all tastes, as well as menu of the day or seasonal menu.

Vinatea is this meeting point between tradition and innovation. Between traditional flavours and recipes and the most modern techniques and flavours. All of this respecting our origins from start to finish and using local, quality and proximity products.

This is us

Àngela and Diego

We are a couple who met between the kitchens and tables of Vinatea restaurant. We love travelling and getting to know the diverse gastronomy offered by the different countries of the world, with their different traditions and peculiarities.

Àngela has always liked to boost her creativity, and when she finished her studies in Graphic Design in Barcelona, she decided to return to Morella to devote herself fully to the family business as a cook at the Vinatea restaurant.

We believe that in order to get the best of ourselves, it is essential to continue training. For this reason, Àngela did a master’s degree in gastronomy at Gasma in 2015 and Diego did a master’s degree in Hospitality Management.

We love what we do and we are very happy to see that our work is recognized. Therefore, we are very proud that Àngela was one of the most promising young chefs of Comunitat Valenciana in 2017, and Diego one of the most promising head waiter of Comunitat Valenciana in 2019.

Local and proximity product

We work with local providers searching always the most quality of the products. From artisan bread and AOVES to truffles, cheese, meat, fruits and vegetables. All come from nearby. Some of our providers are located in Benicarló, San Mateu, El Boixar, Canet Lo Roig, Valencia and our beloved Morella.
